The System

Cartoon Pilot

Have you ever wondered what happens in our solar system when no one is looking. Well, that's precisely what this documentary aims to uncover. Join us on an exploration of all the mysteries and drama that take place in our very own solar system. We sent a camera crew into space for the first time ever to capture first-hand interviews with everyone's favorite planets, and even the Sun himself!

I wrote and created this entire film myself while managing a team of local stand-up comedians for voice-overs. I recorded and edited the voices using Logic Pro, and gave the actors a full script with detailed character descriptions. However, I encouraged them to improvise and add their personal touch to their characters. My goal was to create a relatable and authentic experience for the audience.

Trailers

For the film animation, I used a combination of After Effects and Photoshop. First, I created key mouth frames in Photoshop and then transferred them to After Effects. With the help of adjustment layers, masks, and other effects, I was able to achieve a unique and seamless look for the film. To create the non-animated parts, I used a mix of my own photos and videos along with some royalty-free assets I found online.
