Vision Zero is a strategy to eliminate all traffic fatalities and severe injuries, while increasing safe, healthy, equitable mobility for all. In the US, over 42,000 people are killed in traffic accidents each year, and thousands more are injured.

I had the opportunity to work directly with the founder of Vision Zero to help her create a PSA that would spread the word about this important initiative.

The initial script was too long, so I worked with them to trim it down to the essential points. Although they wanted me to record the voiceover, I suggested that the founder record it as her voice would be more impactful.

Using After Effects, I incorporated royalty-free videos and added text using Mocha AE and 3D camera tracking. I used track matts and masking to blend the text as seamlessly as possible. Once the main video was completed, I created a new composition for color correction and audio.
